James Cawley

Chief Executive Officer — IDX Capital, LLC

Mr. Cawley founded IDX in 2005 and has led the company as CEO since early 2006. Mr. Cawley oversees all aspects of the business, but focuses primarily on strategic initiatives and client relationships.

Previously, Mr. Cawley founded Axiom Global Partners, a boutique credit derivative broker in late 2002. Axiom rose quickly to become a dominant player in the credit derivative index and high yield CDS markets. Under his leadership, Axiom became the largest electronic broker of CDS in the US executing over $1.5 Billion daily and also launched offices in London and Charlotte.

Mr. Cawley is a recognized authority on credit derivative market structure issues including counterparty risk mitigation, regulation and execution transparency. He has been a key note speaker at several industry conferences and has been quoted in numerous publications including The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, Fortune, Business Week, thestreet.com, CBNC, Bloomberg, and Creditflux. Mr. Cawley has also made several appearances on television, including CBS Nightly News, Bloomberg & FOX Business News.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Cawley also founded DirectCellars.Com, a wine direct sales website that months after launch was acquired by Urbanfetch.com. James has several years in fixed income sales & trading experience working at Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America. At Bank of America, Cawley pioneered the emerging market Eurobond franchise in London and New York, where he helped launch the flow, proprietary, & structured new issue desks.

Brady Halper

Managing Director — IDX Capital, LLC

Mr. Halper rejoined IDX Capital in 2008 and is responsible for running the company’s corporate credit voice brokerage business and trading desk operations. Mr. Halper previously worked at IDX in 2006, and has returned from directing MF Global’s New York credit derivatives business.

Mr. Halper also led emerging markets credit products with Cantor-Fitzgerald, where he was hired to build out the business. Prior to Cantor, he was a Senior Vice President of credit products for GFI in Asia.

During his time overseas, Mr. Halper pioneered the trading of credit default swaps and extra-pan-Asian credit products. He built GFI's business into one of the largest interdealer brokers in the Far East. He originally began his career at ICAP, where he was the director of Eurobond and Yankee bonds.

Brady is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in business. Brady lives in New Jersey with his wife and son.



Alexander Harrison

Managing Director — IDX Capital, LLC

Mr. Harrison joined IDX Capital in 2008 to manage development and strategic efforts for the firm during a period of rapid growth and technology deployment.

He was previously at FTVentures, where he focused on market structure and electronic trading venture capital investments. Earlier, he worked at Sequoia Capital, concentrating on financial technology, as well as at Summit Partners as a generalist technology investor. Mr. Harrison is passionate about investing in and building electronic platforms that aim to flatten market structure and bring fairness and transparency to trading environments across asset classes. His focus includes both the infrastructure and investing dynamics of capital markets technology. He has been quoted in publications including Wall Street & Technology, Advanced Trading and The Leadership Institute.

Mr. Harrison has originated and executed over $500 million in venture and private equity investments during his career. He also served on the Board of Directors of Vision Care Holdings, as well as a Boston-based charity serving the social good. Mr. Harrison began his career at Goldman Sachs and graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in history.



Edwin Rodriquez

Managing Director — IDX Capital, LLC

Mr. Rodriguez, 43, joins IDX Capital from JP Morgan Chase where he worked for 15 years.

At JPMorgan, most recently Mr. Rodriguez was a Vice President of Credit and Commercial Banking responsible for commercial credit, securities operations, & small business compliance. He held that position for three years.

Mr. Rodriguez also led managed 24 securities professionals focused on small & middle tier NY based investment & cash management accounts.

From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Rodriguez was a regional securities compliance director for JP Morgan in New York City and Long Island where he oversaw 180 NASD registered representatives. At Chemical Bank, Mr. Rodriguez also helped develop the institution’s new insurance products franchise for small business, during which he managed 90 insurance sales professionals.
